A 1980.3 kWp rooftop solar power plant, about 2 MW, on the open roofs of Super Smelters Ltd., described by the local press as the largest industrial unit in the Jamuria industrial area of West Bengal.
The plant was built in collaboration with Tata Power Solar, with Arrays Ingenieria as implementation partner. It was inaugurated by Super Smelters' director, Sanjay Singhania, with Lt. Gen. Ashish Ranjan Prasad (Retd) of Arrays Ingenieria present.
Super Smelters issued Arrays Ingenieria a letter of appreciation for the project, and the inauguration was covered by Sanmarg and other Hindi dailies.
