A 450 kW grid-connected ground-mount solar plant at Orangajuli Tea Estate, Panerihaat, in Udalguri, Assam, commissioned on Janmashtami, 4 September 2026, and inaugurated by the estate manager, Daljit Singh Maan.

The Project

About the Orangajuli Tea Estate, Assam project

The plant is part of a 3.11 MW solar programme for Goodricke Group's tea estates, developed jointly by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. and Sustvest, with Arrays Ingenieria as the installation partner.

With Orangajuli, Arrays Ingenieria reported that it had completed the installation and commissioning of solar plants at 18 tea gardens in Assam. The launch was reported by the Hindi daily Prerna Bharati and filmed by NE Reports.
